Can you give negative stars? Young military family being transferred to Dayton with two children- one is 5 years old, the other 12 months. Wife spent a few days looking at properties in person with kids and realtor. Realtor knew their wants and needs. Walk-throughs after that were facetime only. Purchased a home to move into. Arrive after 3 days on the road and can smell cigarette smoke BEFORE opening door. *Ohio does not have to disclose if a house has had smokers but have to reduce property amount considerably but this didn't happen. Call realtor to ask some questions. He came out a couple days later after house had been airing out and industrial air purifiers had been working. He stated it didn't smell like that when he saw it. Took him to truck that carpet and padding that had been ripped out was, invited him to bring his family to hang out in it. He declined. Long story short, he said he'd do what it takes to make it right- in writing. Have had to remove all drywall, doors, ceilings, have had contractors and someone that does restoration of damaged properties in to consult, it's unlivable in the state it is in. Nice family offered them a space to live in their basement while work is happening at the house. (Going to be a couple months). Realty company has not been helpful. The best part in all of this is that people in their church have stepped up to help. At least proving not all Ohio people are unscrupulous. The most interesting part of the whole fiasco is that one person that actually looked at the property a few weeks prior stated she didn't get up the outside stairs before turning around and telling the realtor they didn't want to go in due to the smell of cigarette smoke. I'd avoid this company at all costs.

As a first-time home buyer, I had a great experience working with Rick Carr. He was very knowledgeable regarding the types of things that make a great starter home and what to consider when looking online and touring in person. I especially appreciated his insights into what areas around Dayton/Cincinnati have to offer, whether an area will be good for families or starting a new business, etc. He helped me find the perfect home near where I grew up, and well under the price I expected. I would absolutely recommend Rick for anyone in the market to buy or sell in Dayton.

Sophia was absolutely wonderful!! She is extremely knowledgeable about the area, made herself available to us for questions, calls, virtual home visits, etc. When we gave her our schedule for the few days we had in town to check out homes, she made sure she had time for us and showed us every house we wanted to see. She was flexible, extremely helpful, provided honest input and did not pressure us to make a decision. She walked with us every step of the way through the buying process and even helped us out with logistics after we closed. We have bought a lot of homes in the past, and can say without a doubt that Sophia is top notch! We highly recommend her!

David Hochwalt helped me simultaneously buy a house and sell a townhouse and he couldn’t have made the process any easier on me. He was positive, patient, communicative, dedicated, and, honestly, just fun to work with. He fully understands how huge and overwhelming the whole process can be and he did whatever he could to not only get me the results I wanted but also make it as low stress as possible.

I don't even know where to begin I have so many good things to say about my realtor, Chloe Chicarelli! She was great in the process of finding my new home. She took the time to listen to my wants and made herself available any time for a showing. When it came down to negotiating as we were one of four offers, her sweet, calm, caring, no pressure personality (the house was for sale due to the sudden loss of the sellers mother) was one of the reasons the seller choose me even though we were not the highest offer.
